From the foundation of our law firm in 1991 until today, one of our main areas of expertise has been advising and representing clients in the construction sector.

We have extensive experience in all areas of private as well as public construction (planning) law. Whether you are a highly specialized specialist company or a globally active construction group, whether you are a general contractor, a client, a contractor, an investor/project developer or a project manager, we help you with our experience.

We support you in the development, the drafting of contracts, the ongoing supervision of a construction project that has run into problems or the legal processing of defects and delays in construction. We are at your side at every stage and represent your interests competently and sustainably. We have become acquainted with a large number of outstanding construction projects in Germany and their internal peculiarities.

As the quality and timeliness of planning services as well as planning changes by architects and specialist planners are often in focus, we represent both client:in against planner:in as well as, conversely, we support planner:in the defense of claims, the drafting of their contracts as well as the enforcement of their claims.

We assist investors, project developers and project managers in the development and realization of their construction projects from the point of view of public-law construction planning and in the drafting of their contracts, as well as those carrying out the construction work (general contractors, property developers, clients, contractors). Similarly, we assist parties involved in construction during the construction phase and afterwards in clarifying and disputing the consequences of changes in performance, claims for supplementary performance, defects and delays in construction.

Real estate law

We advise on the purchase and sale of real estate – individually or in packages – and on the preparation, drafting and execution of transactions, as well as on the structuring and ongoing management of commercial leases and on the reorganization and restructuring of real estate and portfolios. Our clients range from property owners and project developers with a few properties to the largest portfolios throughout Germany.

Commercial tenancy law

We advise clients with commercial real estate on the drafting and review of commercial leases, triple-net agreements and property management. In addition, we represent our clients out of court and in court in the enforcement of commercial tenancy law claims. Our range of activities includes both tenancy law disputes and complex due diligence reviews. Our projects include both single-tenant and multi-tenant properties.
